Las Vegas Day 6

Today was pretty uneventful for me. I was not feeling good. We got up and went down to Delight for breakfast. I had tea, and it came in this really cute tea cup, check it out. I want one for home!

I thought it was so cute, on a little tray, with a little jar of honey. It's the little things that make my day! I'm gonna order tea more often. I went with the continental breakfast this morning, as I wasn't that hungry, and it was so good. The croissant was so buttery and flakey that it melted in my mouth. Hard to believe I wasn't in France. (My mouth is watering again as I write this.) The fruit was delicious too. It's like someone hand picks each piece, because every piece is juicy and perfectly plump. I can just imagine the fruit person in the kitchen cutting up the watermelon, tossing out the wilted pieces while shaking her finger at the remaining peices: I will settle for nothing less than perfection, let that be a lesson to the rest of you!! The Martha Stewart of fruit! (This cold really is going to my head isn't it? Did I mention that I saw a real Oompa-loompa. No really I did!! The sunday after Halloween at the Wynn. Seriously!! He was little and orange and everything. He was playing blackjack and smoking a cigar, exactly what you might imagine an Oompa-loompa does on his day off from the chocolate factory.)

John went with the bacon and eggs again, and was very happy with his choice. After breakfast, we had a bit of time to kill before we had to go pick up the Holicks (one of John's partners, Jon & his wife Shannon) at the airport, so we walked to the casino. I started to feel really dizzy and not so good, so John cashed his chips from last night and we headed back to the room. I thought I would be feeling better by now, not worse. Anyways I decided to stay in, and John went, picked up the Holicks, dropped Shannon off at her hotel, and headed down to the SEMA show. I read, and then napped. Did I mention how comfortable that bed is?!?

John came back a few hours later and we went back down to a bar to meet the Holicks for a drink. Then we parted ways, they wanted to go have a romantic dinner, and we decided to go to the Grand Wok in MGM. I wasn't really up to taking pictures, and really the food was not that great at all. Tao was so much better. We had California rolls, spider rolls, pot stickers and beef tenderloin. Nothing to write home about, I don't think I would ever eat there again. I was surprised because it was quite busy. Usually if a place is busy-it's good. Oh well, it can't all be good.

After dinner, John decided to enter a poker tournament, which was fine by me as I was starting to fade again. As I am writing this, John texted me to let me know he is still in the tournament so hopefully he wins. I'm going back to bed, hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow!
